UREA
Urea fertilizer is defined as a nutrient used to meet the nitrogen needs of plants. The product, which helps to accelerate the development of the plant, gives vitality, helps photosynthesis and increases the yield, supports the crop at all stages of development. Urea fertilizer, which is preferred to be used in almost every crop, prevents the problems experienced in urea deficiency. When urea is insufficient, crop growth slows, leaves wilt, and yields decrease.
According to the presentation titled Soil, Plant Nutrients, Fertilization, Fertilizer Types by the Field Crops Department of the Faculty of Agriculture of Mustafa Kemal University, urea is the fertilizer with the highest nitrogen content with its 46% nitrogen rate. 100 kilograms of urea days contain 45-46 kilograms of pure nitrogen.
Urea fertilizer accelerates the development of crops, promises a height-forming and root-improving effect. Urea, which plays an important role in fruit and grain development, is among the main supports of grain and corn cultivation. According to Bingöl University’s Plant Nutrition lecture notes, urea fertilizer is being used more and more all over the world thanks to its benefits. It is underlined that there are four reasons for the spread:
